Vancouver Tagore Society is delighted to announce the winners for the VTS Poetry Contest 2016. There were many entries and our panel of highly respected judges spent hours poring over the fine poems to make their decision, which was no easy task.
We heartily thank you all for your participation and congratulate the poets who made the shortlist and Top 3.
The shortlisted poets were invited to read their chosen poems during the Poetry Evening of theWest Coast Tagore Festival 2016, September 9th at the Richmond Cultural Center. Richmond Councillor Linda McPhail presented the Certificates to the First, Second and Third Place winners.
